OH BOY! This child might not make it out of middle school ALIVE. Donavan has been blessed with the ability to be able to sit in class and soak in all information and be able to not only retain it but know how to use it. So therefore, there is no reason to EVER but any extra effort. I believe the main reason he will not have all A's is for the simple fact he can't be bothered with me signing his work or the "oh I forgot".
I am praying this is just a 12 year old stage that will pass in time. Donavan apparently is also a part of a group of boys that are always cutting up and causing some teachers nightmares. Though we always hear how polite and sweet we also hear he is so funny.
Donavan does have a great sense of humor and handles his older siblings ribbing extremely well. We have learned this year that even though he talks nonstop, he is not telling you information about him. I am going to have to watch this one like a hawk:).
