Last weeks sports highlights
Donavan's football team keeps winning. Their team is 4-1. They have their last game on Saturday and then it is playoff time. Donavan improves every week as right guard.
Conlan's team finally won a game. YEAH! They played like they were superstars. Conlan is doing an excellent job as center. Two weeks ago he played both ways..he was one tired puppy.
Colleen's soccer team had a tough time on Tuesday. Six players were injured during the game. Colleen got moved from defense to forward and did so well she earned her self a new position. Thursday, the girls did much better and won, helpfully they will continue that pattern for the rest of the season. Two of the best players are currently sitting due to injuries.
Colleen also was the student speaker for the FCA fund raising banquet. She knocked it out of the ballpark. I was so proud of her. You would have never known she had never spoke in front of 400 people before......It was also special to hear her share her excitement for Christ and how she wants to share his love to others.
Sierra is practicing turning her head and batting her hands. Lots of smiles and cooing....

Onomatopoeia, alliteration and hyperbole.....
Imagine me trying to help Conlan study for a test on the 7 types of language. I couldn't say the word, Conlan couldn't say the words..Conlan didn't understand what I was trying to pronounce and I didn't know what he was trying to say. Colleen tried to help but she got frustrated with both of us. Conlan and I modified and adapted and I think I might of helped him a little. I could just hear my family laughing at me butchering these words. Poor Conlan, the one trait he got from his mommy.
