Life the last couple of weeks

   Our lives have been all about football and volleyball.  I tried to post things a couple of weeks ago but the blog site wasn't working and then I got "sidetracked". Going to throw a couple of important things up and then try and do better with being more up to date.  There are lots of incredible things going on and I would hate to not have any record of it.

The drama of the tooth

The principal got me out of class... Sierra was in the with the nurse crying hysterically.  The child had blood all over her face.  She had been messing with her tooth and it started to bleed big time.  But once the blood stopped she managed 24 hours of it hanging big it came out.  Then the tooth fairy couldn't take the tooth bc her daddy needed needed to see it.   

Montana Football

We went to Liberty University to watch Montana.  What a great experience!  I was very impressed with Liberty, and all the Montana fans were so friendly.  Conlan still is in love even though they lost!

    There is a view of mountains in Lynchburg.  I made sure Conlan saw that !!

RMC is rolling and Colleen is blocking!  She is playing better every game. It is always fun to watch her play.

Conlan got punched in the chin and had to be bandaged up due to all the blood.  Their team is playing well and Conlan is improving each game.

MRSA

Conlan had a tiny cut that within 24 hours turned into a nasty infection.  Got sent to the doctor straight off the football field.  Thankfully it seems to be healing and not some nightmare story.

    I enjoyed turning 50.  I got a great girl's trip to the beach, a wonderful birthday dinner with friends and lots of laughter, a fantastic birthday party that included Ann and Ellie.  My family did me right!

Our next door neighbor is from Springdale, so his kids also wear razorback clothing.  Today both Sierra and Nicolas were sporting their hog shirts.

The ending

Just when we thought the game was a lost, a rushed field goal saved the game.  The first picture was in the local paper.  The 3rd is the moment Conlan knew they had won the game.  The 2nd shows white boys can jump!
