New Job/Toy

Ray officially started his new job description on Sunday.  He is driving the Rescue Squad.  Gets to do fun things like get people out  of smashed cars.  The downside is the constant training dealing with Hazmat incidents.

Colleen's team did great this weekend.  They finished 6-2.  It was our last two day tournament:). Just two more 3 days and club volleyball will be history!

Donavan is in full mode with his basketball team.  D has improved greatly this last year.  He is starting to see more playing time and his coaches love his attitude.

We spent the weekend in Raleigh.  Colleen played some of her best volleyball.  

Jesus Story

Sierra, during mass, noticed that Jesus was nailed to every cross in the room.  The WHY?  questions started and I was hushing her since we were in church. She wanted answers and didn't really care that the priest was talking.  I managed to distract her, but after church I gave her the story.  Trying to skip over the why would the police do that to him?  didn't they know nails would hurt?  who exactly are the bad people?  I tried to focus on the Jesus died for ours sins but then he came back from dying and if we believe this we can go to heaven..Sierra looked at me and stated " That is the same story that is in my bible" and walked away.
    Not sure what she took from that.....

Uncle Kenny's 75th birthday

I am sorry this has not been posted earlier. Aunt Sandy had a small party at the rehab center for Uncle Kenny. The best part is he is out of rehab hospital, eating crab cakes at home. So proud of his positive can do attitude! I think I help him, but he helps me. Thanks for all you do and have done, Uncle Kenny!!
