Scooter
Mr. Farrell, a teacher at the high school (also husband of Colleen's kindergarten teacher ) tore his Achilles' tendon and bought this scooter for himself. He has been gracious enough to let Conlan use it during the school day. It has helped Conlan's mood as it is a great toy for him. Plus it helps with the long hallways.

Back troubles
Donavan hurt his back last Sunday during basketball. By Wednesday he was in all kinda of pain and had to sit out during football. I took him to our Chinese Guy. Besides having his feet, calves and back worked on he did this suction cup trick. Today he practiced for 3 hours and never once complained. We tease that the aliens came and got him.

Friday Night Lights
Massaponax is still undefeated 8-0! It is hard watching Conlan crutching it on the sidelines, but he is being a great cheerleader. He also still huddles with his O-line and is still their leader.
We have been having to keep a closer eye on Dman, as he likes to be social. Thankfully we also have Sierra who loves to check on him;)

RMC Volleyball
Sierra and I spent the day watching two games and then going to a reception at the RMC president's house. Sierra loves the vball girls. She doesn't even pay attention to Colleen. She has a whole group of new girls to hang with..I am glad Colleen also has these group of girls to hang with. It was also senior day. Bailey is the only senior, and you can tell the love all these girls have for her.

I KNOW YOU
Ann and Brooke worked hard trying to improve Sierra's drawing skills. Sierra drew a great picture, unfortunately it was on the couch cushion.
On Saturday while Ann was interacting with Sierra for over an hour or so....Sierra looked at Ann and exclaimed
I know you...you were in Colorado with us.
So funny....

Poor Conlan
Conlan got back on the field only to get his ankle broken. His lower fibula is cracked about 3/4 of the way. The jury is still out on whether he will have to have surgery, but things are looking positive.
Conlan is learning just the basic things like going to the bathroom, getting water, putting on his pants is very tiring and hard. Praying his toughness will shine thru the next couple of months.
