First Lost

Donavan's team lost their first game today. They are 3-1 now. I am proud of Donavan and how well he has been playing at tackle

Little Chef

Donavan didn't want Sierra's help making cookies, so he gave her her own "tools" and workspace.

Coming home

Saint Ray comes home tonight from his travels dealing with the sick and distressed.  Or was it Party Ray that was gone spreading his laughter and goodwill?
We will just be glad to have him back

89 days till Christmas

I have never been a Christmas person, but I think the excitement Colleen and Sierra are showing for it just might put me in the Christmas spirit.

JV won

The JV team has been struggling but finally got a W this week. Conlan is getting to play center every other series, and he plays during kick off and punt return. He is working hard and wants a starting position now not later. Conlan is #78.

My other boy

Meet Cody and Matt!  The volleyball team dressed as boys this week.  It scared me, but the girls had a great time.

My little RAE of sunshine

Sierra was already for the rain.  She had asked for rain coat, then realized she needed boots and an umbrella. She is most in love with the boots, and stomping them in the puddles.

First JV game

Conlan's debut being a JV football player. He got to play on the kick off return, was tackle in the red zone defense, and played center the last part of the game. His team scored in less than 2 minutes while he was playing center. Conlan wanted to play more but we thought he played quite a bit for being the new guy. The coaches have been impressed with his work ethic. Conlan is feeling like he is a tackling dummy for the varsity, and is frustrated with not getting to be on the field 100% of the time. But I have a feeling he will see more and more playing time as the season progresses.

The newspaper article from this morning.

Dreams do come true

Colleen has always dreamed of her picture on the front page of the sports section.  Plus she was quoted in the paper from being interviewed after the game.  A great thing to wake up to...
