A year ago Colleen would have never dreamed these two would be her best buddies.

   Mattie and Colleen were inseparable the first two years of high school, but then let boys and other issues separate them.  Carolyn and Colleen have been swimming together since they were seven.  They have always been just tolerable of each other.  

      Carolyn goes to RMC too and the girls decided to be friends instead of competitiors.   Mattie and Colleen reconnected over the spring and are right back at it.  Life is an interesting ride.

Lifeguard

Colleen is a lifeguard at the Fredericksburg City Pool.  She has learned a lot about the people who don't go to private pools.  It has made her appreciate her life.  She does enjoying her co workers and giving swim lessons.  She can easily work 40 hours a week so even though she has no social life she does have some money in her pocket.

I tried to have a summer with no swim meets, but it wasn't in the cards.  Conlan decided he wanted to swim and cheer.  Sierra gets to swim the 25 yard free.

      Conlan's personality takes a 180 when he puts on a speedo.  I love to see him larger than life and how he can get a crowd going.
