The 17 year old locust. I remember when Colleen was born and we had these loud ugly bugs everywhere. 17 years seemed like it would be forever before we would see these creatures again, but it went quick. They are everywhere and you feel like you are dived bombed every time you walk outside. Sierra has learned to love them and brings them in the house every chance she gets. The noise they make is this eerie loud sound that you can hear in the house with the AC on, it could easily drive you crazy if you let it.
