Donavan has had a hard time in English this year. Of course he blames it all on the crazy teacher, but lack of turning in homework and talking in class tends to make one believe he might be part of the problem.

His teacher called the other day and got the joy of talking to Ray. Thankfully Ray was at work, because it gave him time to calm down before he saw Donavan.
Conlan asked Donavan if he was scared to come home, and Donavan said
'NO, I had a good explanation thought up, but unfortunately Daddy didn't want to hear it!"
Maybe one day, Donavan will stop thinking of excuses and explaining his actions away and actually just do his work!
