Once upon a time (before Obamacare) when I had a child screaming in the middle of the night due to an ear infection, I would take them to the ER pay my $50 bucks to have them numb the kid so we could all sleep. Last night the screaming never got bad enough that I felt the need to pay $200 to have her feel better. Why can people who don't have good insurance still go to the ER for "free" and us who pay can't afford to go?
For the record, I have never like to be told what to do. I do not mind when I am asked to do something, to be given instructions/suggestions on how it is to be carried out. BUT I do NOT like being micro managed. If you have time to check on my progress and how to do it better, then you have time to do it yourself. I know I sound like a teenager not liking how my mom tells me to do something and then stands over the top of me to make sure I do it right. Hopefully this experience was to help me not to micro manage my kids.
