Last year at this time, Colleen thought her Aunt Sarah was the worst, meanest, all in your business Aunt in the whole world. Colleen had her first serious boyfriend and Sarah was on it like white on rice. The boy was everything you don't want for your child and he let his inner thoughts be known on facebook. Sarah was quite vocal with her disapproval, and it made Colleen crazy. Of course, Sarah was just watching out for Colleen because she loved her and knew she could do so much better. Colleen was so sure Sarah was trying to ruin her life. Turns out Sarah was completely right and that made Colleen even crazier.
Fast forward to a year later....Colleen gave up Twitter for Lent and Sarah said "but how will I know how miserable she is everyday." Colleen offered up replacing tweeting to texting Sarah everyday with her daily thoughts. Almost everyday Colleen has given her a blow by blow account of her day. One day this week Colleen said " I love texting Aunt Sarah and telling her about my day." I laughed and said "What a difference a year makes."
