For five years I have been posting pictures and thoughts on this blog for family members that live far away to see what we do. I have often wished I was that super creative witty writer or that I would take the time to put more effort into it.
Last night, thanks to Ian, our whole family spent the evening looking back at pictures and videos. What fun it was to listen to the kids laugh at themselves and to remember we have done a few more things than attend sporting events. Sarah has always said her blog is a documentation of her family life so she can remember all the small things. I realized I have 5 years of memories in one place (the other 40 are in a drawer somewhere) and all I need to do is continue and not worry about making perfect memories but just make sure I am making some.
