School Bus Accident

Conlan didn't come home yesterday and by the time we began to worry we not only get a phone call but mutliple text messages about a bus accident. I have taken for granted that my kids will come home at the same time every day safe and sound. Thankfully it was nothing serious, but I think I will start being more prayful about the kids getting to and from school.
This was one of the articles about the accident.

Five Thornburg Middle students headed to hospital after bus accident
The school division just released this information about the bus accident involving Thornburg Middle students.

Spotsylvania County School Bus 107 from Thornburg Middle School was involved in an accident this afternoon taking students home from school at approximately 3:10 p.m. The bus was carrying 43 students.

The bus driver ran off the road on Massaponax Church Road near the intersection of Summit’s Crossing Road.

Thornburg Middle School Principal Mr. Tower, Transportation, Sherriff’s Office, and the Rescue Squad were dispatched immediately. All students have been transferred to another bus at the scene and are being checked individually by emergency rescue personnel.
