Conlan went to the doctor this morning with a sore throat and headache. NO strep just a virus, eat Popsicles and watch movies for the next couple of days. We go to the video store and then the grocery store. While waiting in line, Conlan all the sudden says his head hurts and falls to the ground. I get him up and move him to a seat while I finish paying. One of the workers is helping me get him to the car, and he turns white and passes out cold in front of the store. Goodness! I was scared to death for about 60 seconds. He was just lying there with his eyes wide open. A group of generous souls stopped and gave us water, and got ice and called 911. Also we had the popsicles. By the time the fire dept got there he was more alert, we refused a ride to the hospital. I took him back to the doctor's office and they contacted the ER and set up for him to be admitted. Conlan got the works.. blood drawn, x-rays, EKG and IV fluids. 4 hours later left feeling like a new boy. He does have pneumonia. Go figure! Currently he is asleep and I think he might have a couple of days of being housebound. The bright side is he did it b/f our trip not during it!
